dreaming in green
in their native tongue
through smoke and shadow
comes indigo and gold
It was a revelation to walk in the Elena Gallegos Open Space this morning after yesterday's delicious pouring rain... to see how quickly green was returning to the bunches of blue grama grasses ~ dormant until yesterday! Today was the day I fell in love with the one-seeded juniper trees as they whispered secrets about Georgia O'Keeffe.
