POSTCARDS FROM A RED CANOE

oLLa dear hearts!  

Still thinking about this red canoe, how 'in my element' I felt as I paddled gently up and down that precious stream flowing into Green Lake (Michigan) ~ one of those luscious 'in-between places' so rich in life and good juju; one of those 'Life is but a dream... or a magic show' experiences.

I felt transcendent... paddling inside that delicious space where there is no separation, no time, no me-ness, no other-ness.  Blue damselflies landed on my hand, locked in their mating embrace. Dragonflies whirred everywhere ~ shining iridescent green-blue male Ebony Jewelwings, the striking female Ebony Jewelwing with distinctive white spot on her wings ~ beautiful magicians, guardians of the Dreamtime's Fertile Void.  Apropos as I create a new future for myself, my creative dreams.
